Treat holders

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week! This time of year always seems so busy with t-ball games, dance recitals, festivals and Birthdays! My youngest son will be turning 4 next week (so hard to believe!) We are giving him a party this weekend and I decided to make his party favor holders using Sweet Treats cartridge. I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the frosting. The tags were cut using Walk in My Garden (bread tag). So super simple!

LadyBug Card

Happy Sunday! Hope everyone is enjoying their day today! It is such a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and very mild weather. We've been busy this weekend with going to a parade on Saturday, then the usual shopping trip with mom to Michael's and A.C. Moore, out to eat Sat. night and then to Sunday School and Church services today. I did get a few hours this afternoon to play in my craft room so I made this cute card using Create a Critter cartridge. This cartridge has some really cute images and I thought this super cute ladybug was perfect for a co-worker who loves them! I am also entering this card into the Cricutters Anonymous Spring Theme challenge. Check it out here. Don't forget about Secretary's Day on Wednesday! (this card is for my secretary at work). Have a great week and thanks sooo much for stopping by!

I know this is my 2nd post for today, but I wanted to enter the above card into the Cricutters Anonymous All in the Family Challenge. I made this card for my husband for our 9th wedding anniversary. I used the Home Decor Cartridge to cut the heart, love, and forever. I used the Cuttlebug embossing folder to emboss the background. Enjoy!

Spring Card

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. The weather was so beautiful on Sunday. We spent most of the afternoon outside playing and enjoying the mild weather. My boys were back in school today (much to their disappointment!) I thought I would share a card today that reminds me of spring. My tulips are just starting to come through the ground. I made this card using mini monograms and walk in my garden cartridges. The DP is by K&Company. Stickles were added to the word "thanks" for some added sparkle. Hope you enjoy! Thanks for stopping by today!

Martha Stewart Punches

I just love Martha Stewart's Punches. I made this card today for a co-worker's daughter. Her birthday is this week and she wants me to make her cake too! I thought the lace border punch and the butterfly punch were perfect! This is the first time that I have tried this flower technique using ribbon. I simply did a running stitch through one side of my ribbon and then pulled the thread tight to make the flower ruffle. I got the idea for this card from the March/April issue of Papercraft Magazine...I just love this issue and the inspiration it has for papercrafting. Thanks for stopping by today!

My Birthday

Well today is my birthday and even though it has been sort of an ordinary day at work I have had several visitors tonight and a lot of phone calls from family. Since I've been dieting lately, I asked my husband to wait until tomorrow night to go out to eat (tomorrow is the day I weight in). Enough about me, here is a card that I made for a friend who shares my birthday with me. I got the idea from the latest PaperCrafts magazine. The DP is by DCWV and the rub on is by Making Memories. Well, I hope everyone has had a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by!

Anniversary Card

Sorry that its been a while since I last posted. I have been busy making cupcakes for Valentine's parties, as well as a wedding cake the weekend of Valentine's and we had a beautiful snow storm on Friday night which covered us with about 6" of snow for the kids to play in on Saturday. I was so busy baking I didn't get a chance to play in the snow with the kids, but we did make some snow cream! YUM YUM! Here is a card that I made for a co-worker of mine who is celebrating his 25th wedding anniversary with his wife this week. I embossed the pannels of cardstock with clear embossing powder and then stamped my images using Martha Stewart pigment inks. The pearls are by Want 2 Scrap, CS by Bazzill...I also used Versamark ink and stamps are by Stampin up! and Autumn Leaves. Thanks for visiting my blog today...Hope you have a blessed Wednesday!

Happy Birthday Dad!

Wow, I can't believe my dad is 67 years old today! Time is really flying by, but I am so blessed to be so close to my parents as well as my husband's parents. We all live within 5 miles of each other so we get to spend a lot of time with each other

and my kids really love spending time with their Pappy! Here is a cute card I made for him for his birthday. I always seem to struggle when it comes to making cards for men/boys. I figured since he was at the wise age of 67...an owl would be the perfect stamp. Thanks for stopping by...and BTW Happy Groundhog's Day...did he see his shadow?

Thanks Card

I love simple cards and this card I made today is just that! I got the idea from here. I just luv, luv her style! Check it out! The DP is by Me & My Big Ideas and the die cut flower and thanks is by Cuttlebug. The butterfly punch is Martha Stewart. I embossed the background with a stamp by Autumn Leaves and clear embossing powder. Very simple, but beautiful. Thanks for stopping by again today!

Snow/ice day!

Our church services were cancelled today because of all the ice and snow. The boys could not wait to get outside this morning and play (yesterday was very nasty with all the sleet and freezing rain). We went sledding with the lawnmower! They had a blast! School is out tomorrow, but unfortunately its back to work for me! Hope to get some more cards posted this week so please check back. Hope everyone has a wonderful week (I can't believe tomorrow is the 1st of February!)

100th day at school project for my 6-year old son

My son's school is celebrating their 100th day at school next week, so they had a project where they had to make something out of a 100 of something (i.e. 100 macaroni, cotton balls, etc). He decided he wanted to take a 100 M&Ms (his favorite candy) and make a rainbow (I thought this was a great idea and couldn't wait to help him get started with his project. The first picture is of him (he's in kindergarten) and the second is our finished project. I thought it turned out just terrific!!

Happy Birthday Grandma/Craft Room

I thought I would add some new pictures of my crafting room. It's always evolving (I guess because I'm always adding to my stash of supplies!!) I share this room with my 2 boys who use half the room as their play room. I guess its OUR "play room" ;) Hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend. Also here is a card I made for my grandmother. It's her 84th birthday today!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA!!

Happy New Year!

Sorry I haven't posted in quite a while! I have been soooo very busy with the kids being out of school and the holidays! I hope everyone has a blessed New year and that God will richly bless each and everyone of you in 2010. Here is a card that my son (age 6) and I made on New year's eve night. He picked out the images to cut out on the Cricut and picked the colors and I helped him put it all together. He wanted to make this card for a special aunt who has recently been sick. I am entering this into the challenge on My Pink Stamper. She has some wonderful videos on the Cricut as well as some great giveaways (deadline is on Monday 1/4/10). Have a great weekend everyone!
